I like a good snood, especially at this time of year. I have serious thermostat issues i.e. I’m permanently too hot even in the dead of winter! I’m the random redhead striding into work in a t-shirt or running home in the snow without a coat. So, a scarf makes a good addition to a light jacket and does enough to keep me cosy.
This snood (£2.50, Save the Children) is really cute – I adore the navy and red colour combination. And it’s cotton so not too itchy or hot. The best thing about snoods compared to scarves is that you don’t really have to think about how you wear them! I had a chat with the lady in the Save the Children shop about this, in fact-she was a bit unsure about how to style it. Just throw one over your head and let it fall. That’s all you have to do! Somehow they always look effortlessly casual and cool.
I’m going to give this lovely Hilfiger snood lots of attention over the Autumn/Winter period, and plan to pair it with my Mary Louise Parker denim (but more about that later).
